The course focused on the ways and means of improving student performance towards earning the IELTS and better understanding of English.
Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading educational institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently concluded a training course in Student Skills Improvement in the head office of Al Dhabiania Private School in Abu Dhabi.
Out of its pursuit of disseminating science and knowledge using various ways and means, EMTI spared no effort to achieve that objective and accordingly it conducted an intensive training course which lasted for six days at two hours a day for the students of Al Dhabiania Private School in Abu Dhabi out of its pursuit of making things easy for students by training them in their own school to save them time and effort.
The course focused over six days on many aspects, concepts, and strategies including but not limited to introducing students to the International English Language Testing System Exam (IELTS) and its importance on the first day of this course, modalities of optimal reading and conversation in English on the second and third days, the listening strategies on the fourth day, how to write articles on the fifth day, and a practical training in English on the sixth day.
The course was the result of several visits made by the Institute’s representatives to all the schools in Abu Dhabi, which indicate the Institute’s keenness to strengthen the relations with schools as a pioneer educational institution that pursue, the way we do, provision of the enablers the builders of the future might need.
Instructor Mohamed Siddik Al Bloushi was the person who conducted this course. Mr. Al Bloushi is holding a master’s degree in English as a Second Language from Bridge University in New Jersey, Unites States of America, the bachelor’s degree in English and Linguistics and the BA in Education.
The trainees receive at the end of the course a completion certificate certified by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), the government body in charge of the licensing and supervision of training institutes.
EMTI was established by ELTS, incorporated in 2008, as its training wing to provide training services in the fields of business & management, translation, languages and HSE.
