EMTI asserts its presence in all the events concerning women
Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in the International Conference on Women Sports held from the 4th to the 5th of May, 2015 in Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
The Conference is held under the slogan “sport without barriers” under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the follow-up of Sheikha Fatimah bint Hazza Al Nahyan, President of the Board of Directors of Fatima bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports and Chairwomen of the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, with excellent participation by the most prominent leading figures in women’s sports, including the skating world champion, the holder of Guinness record Mavis Davis, and Thuraya Alzaabi the Emirati champion who participated in the name of the UAE in Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, and many others¹.
EMTI delegation met with many athletes and persons concerned with Sports Beauty driven by the principle “a sound mind in a sound body”; if sports is centered on body and physical health, training and rehabilitation focuses on mind and mental health, and both are well in line and are correlated and strictly dependent on each other, which prompted EMTI to participate in this Conference and let people know about the great and many services it provides in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
It is worth mentioning that EMTI is a role model in the support of Arab women in particular, as assuming the office of Academic Director by Miss. Wafa Musa embodies some tangible support to the Arab women march and confirm the belief in its ability to lead, manage, and excel. Miss. Wafa Musa said about this participation, “We will never miss the opportunity to participate in an event of this kind owing to the noble meanings and supreme goals chiefly aimed at upgrading the level of women and giving them the positions they deserve in their society, for women constitute half of the community in all areas, especially in sports, which indicates the UAE excellence in keeping up with all global developments at all levels and that is the reason why we are committed to provide whatever kind and amount of assistance we can afford to this great approach.”
