Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in a lecture themed “International Rankings of Arab Universities: Current Status and Challenges” at Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Hall at the headquarters of Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research in Abu Dhabi City on 27th May, 2015.
Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies holds on the twenty-seventh of May, 2015 a lecture themed “International Rankings of Arab Universities: Current Status and Challenges” by Dr. Saeed Al Siddiqi, Associate Professor of Public International Law and International Relations in Al Ain University of Science and Technology.
Stemming from its role characterized by involvement in the dissemination of knowledge and awareness of upgrading the level of education in the Arab World, the participation of EMTI came to explore how to overcome the obstacles and difficulties facing the education sector in general and the university education sector in particular, especially in the Arab universities we aspire to see ranking among world class universities.
This participation was made on the instruction of Wafa Mousa, EMTI Academic Director, who personally insisted on participating in this important lecture, which was obvious in her answer to a question about the reason of such participation by saying, “Academic Ranking is very important on the global level: all universities are striving without exception to ascend in this ranking ladder, which is what this lecture has tried to highlight, especially in the Arab World that is still trying to find its way in university education excellence at the global level, all the more reason why EMTI is keen to take part in this lecture, as we are aware in advance of the importance and loftiness of the issue and its presentation, which indicates the awareness of the UAE wise leadership of the necessity to develop university systems in quest of developing individuals towards development of the entire community and upgrading the cultural level of the community”.
