EMTI stresses its keenness to assume its responsibility to the community
Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading educational institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in the heath awareness campaign conducted in Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre on the 9th of July 2015 AD which corresponds to 22nd of Ramadan 1436 AH on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Action Day.
Driven by its role, which is geared to contribute to the development and dissemination of awareness about various health issues and concepts that concern all age groups alike, the participation of EMTI in the health awareness campaign comes to acquaint the valuable public with the best health advice, especially in Ramadan which is characterized by its fasting burden, changes in food system, and high degrees of temperature during the day.
This participation came on instructions from Wafa Mousa, Academic Director of EMTI, who told us, “the sound mind has always been in a the sound body; therefore health awareness tops the most important life notions and social aspects that we face in everyday life, and thus we are required to develop awareness among all age groups on how to avoid catching diseases and get protected against them, driven by the proverb “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” or in other words “prevention is better than cure”.
