EMTI stresses its keenness to keep pace with each and every new approach and development in all areas
Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in the awareness campaign organized by Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council.
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Honorary Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council (ADBWC), the Council is organizing the 1st awareness campaign to disseminate the culture of entrepreneurship in a competitive business environment in Abu Dhabi under the slogan “Creativity and Innovation Approach Towards Entrepreneurship”, from 18th of October to the 19th of November, 2015.
The campaign organization was officially announced at a press conference held at the seat of the Chamber in presence of some of the members of the UAE Businesswomen Council, the Executive Board of Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, and Entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi and countrywide as well as a number of representatives of official, semi-government, and private agencies and institutions.
The organization of the first awareness campaign for the entrepreneurship in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has undoubtedly come within the framework of the implementation of the projects, initiatives, and objectives of the five-year strategic plan of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council 2015 – 2019, which was announced in May 2015 with the encouragement and care of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. The first strategic goal of the plan involves distinguished participation of women in entrepreneurship that ensures its increased presence and sustainability of such presence according to the latest and best international practices and in accordance with the first strategic program falling under this goal aimed at promoting the culture of entrepreneurship among Emirati women in the competitive business environment.
The campaign focuses on giving women entrepreneurs opportunities to meet, know each other, and discuss the difficulties they face and highlighting and supporting Emirati businesswomen and graduates of universities and higher institutes through organizing a distinctive range of training courses and programs that aim to provide Emirati women entrepreneurs, who wish to engage in business, with the tools that would enable them to develop their businesses and acquaint them with the importance of their role through development and dissemination of values appertaining to the spirit of initiative and creativity among Emirati citizens to access the business, trade, and manufacturing sectors so that they can be partners and pillars in the development of the national economy in the future.
She expressed thanks and appreciation to the partners who have supported the organization of this campaign, namely the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, the Council of Emirates Businesswomen, the Family Development Foundation, the General Women’s Union, and Abu Dhabi Media Company.
The Institute has participated by a senior delegation led by Wafa Musa, Academic Director of Elite Management Institute, accompanied by some of the Institute’s personnel to learn about the chances of providing suitable training opportunities for woman and expanding their involvement and participation in business and professional spheres and a forum for dialogue and communication among women entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi Emirate, strengthening their bonds, opening up new areas and roles for women, promoting their creativity, skill development and achievements, enhancing employment opportunities for women in various areas with a focus on economic sector, and providing the opportunity for women to express their opinions on relevant issues and discuss their problems1.
