Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participates in the Propell® Workshop for the TOEFL iBT at EMTI’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi on 14th November, 2015 to help teachers understand the mechanism of TOEFL test.
The Propell® workshop is a one-day professional development program designed to help English-language teachers meet the challenges of teaching English to students. The workshop uses examples from the Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing sections of the TOEFL iBT® test. It provides instructional techniques and strategies for using the integrated-skills approach to teaching language and for preparing students for success.
The workshop agenda included many topics such as the objectives of the workshop, details of the TOEFL test and its multiple parts such as detailed reading, writing, conversation, and listening, additional resources, and distribution of certificates to the attendees.
