The course was conducted on the 16th of November and lasted for a whole day and was attended by 13 participants who were acquainted with the basics of first aid and the optimal ways of responding and dealing with work place injuries or emergent medical cases from their time of occurrence till medical help is in place.

The training course witnessed discussion of the first aid relevant laws and the best practices in addition to an explanation to the procedures followed and the equipment necessary for the application of first aid.The course was given by Mr. Mohammed Rashid Abdullah who has more than 5 years of experience as international consultant in health, safety, and the environment in several areas such as Nebosh IOSH as well as in safety on construction sites, health and safety in the workplace, raising awareness about safety when dealing with cranes, risk assessment, and basic awareness about fire. Over the course of his tenure, he works as environmental health analyst, safety officer, to name a few.
