EMTI stresses its presence in all capital educational areas
Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading educational institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently concluded a training course in first-aid and firefighting at the seat of United Printing & Publishing Company in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the International Health, Safety & Environment Council.

The course was conducted on 17th November, 2015 and lasted for one day and was attended by many participants who were acquainted with the fundamentals of fire safety and related awareness, how to extinguish fire, fire inspection and prevention operations, and firemen’s tasks and duties, in addition to playing a video on the techniques of fire prevention and equipment.
The training course comprised a discussion related to firefighting and its best practices in addition to explanation of the procedures and equipment necessary to fight fire.
The course was run by Mr. Mohammed Rashid Abdullah who has more than 5 years of experience as International Consultant in health, safety, and the environment in several areas such as Nebosh IOSH as well as in safety on construction sites, health and safety in the workplace, raising awareness about safety when dealing with cranes, risk assessment, and basic awareness about fire. Over the course of his tenure, he works as Environmental Health Analyst and Safety Officer, to name a few.
The trainees receive at the end of the course a completion certificate certified by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), the government body in charge of the licensing and supervision of training institutes.
