EMTI, the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in TVET Innovation Conference 2015: A Road Map to the Future held at Fatima College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi on 25th November, 2015.
Under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and in line with the national strategy that calls for innovation, and in light of the 2015 declaration as “Year of Innovation” by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, TVET Innovation Conference 2015 was launched to promote innovation in applied learning
The Conference will shed light on innovations in education, training, teaching, learning, administration, and student services from the perspective of administrators, teachers, and students.
Innovation is more than a soft skill, it is a way of thinking, a concept much like total quality management that is always present no matter what the task or circumstance.
As such an innovative perspective not only impacts the development and improvement of technology but also teaching and learning, human resource management, enrolment management, indeed everything within an educational organization can and should be re-imagined and improved.1
EMTI has participated in this Conference by a senior delegation led by Mr. Walid Musa, Academic Advisor of EMTI, accompanied by some of EMTI’s personnel. When we met with Miss. Wafa Musa, General Manager of EMTI, she said “In the light of the national orientation to innovation and creativity and based on the culture of EMTI aimed at providing all means of education and training to the public, we sought and will continue to pursue backing the market with the best and latest techniques and technologies in the field of education by working on specialized computer systems and through the expected launch of the e-learning platform which will allow its users to learn online to save time and effort in line with the State’s relentless orientation to introduce innovation in all aspects of life and work.”
