The course focused on the complex concepts facing the translator while dealing with complex legal texts.

The course has witnessed a good turnout of trainees from various backgrounds and cultures who were assessed at the beginning of this course using an effective scientific assessment system to determine the trainees who are able to bear the advanced content and peerless benefit for those willing to explore translation aspects using a professional method towards reaping the utmost possible benefits.

Mr. Mohamed Al-Saadi, Course Instructor, took charge of training the participants owing to the extensive translation experience he gained from working in several countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Syria, in addition to his being the Chairperson of ELTS Translation Department and holding the BA in English Literature from Damascus University.

The course lasted for nine days and was given at a teaching speed of two hours a day in which the lecturer led his students deeply into the real world of translation and showed them live models of problems facing the legal translator and how to deal with them without disregarding the necessity to bring up the theoretical aspect of the topic and balance the practical aspect with the theoretical one and what is written and what is done, in addition to discussing real models of regular, medical, and technical texts and how to deal with them in the legal context, not to mention the many examples of powers of attorney and court documents.

The trainees receive at the end of the course a completion certificate certified by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), the government body in charge of the licensing and supervision of training institutes.
