Elite Management Training Institute (EMTI), the Abu Dhabi based leading education institution in the provision of quality and distinguished training, has recently participated in the TVET Leaders Forum for the 2017 Technical Education Week in Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi on 10th January, 2017.
TVET Leaders Forum for the 2017 Technical Education Week aims at highlighting the achievements made in technical and vocational education and training in the United Arab Emirates, which is the result of joint cooperation between the institutions of technical and vocational education institutions, partners, experts, and representatives of the private and public sectors in the State, and searching and exchanging ideas on the best practices towards improving the vocational and technical training system.
The importance of our initiative lies in the major role it plays in spreading awareness on the importance of technical and vocational education in the UAE and in guiding, directing, and informing the Emirati young people of both genders about the labor market for people with technical disciplines and skills and making them aware of how they can explore and find opportunities of jobs that fit their professional specialties, tendencies, and interests.
Among the main entities invited to take part in and benefit from this forum are representatives of the private and government sectors in the field of Human Resources, Emiratization and Training & Development.1
EMTI has participated by a senior delegation led by Wafa Musa, Academic Director of EMTI, accompanied by a number of EMTI’s personnel. During our interview with her, she said “Technical and vocational training has always been one of the vital nerves of careers in Abu Dhabi to which is attached great importance and concern by the people concerned with this matter owing to the great role it plays in further developing and pushing forward the process of progress and development.
