Fire Warden

About the course                                                                                                                               This training provides participants with an appreciation of the significance of fire safety and  their responsibilities so that they can act in a competent manner in the event of fire to  minimize risk and injuries and to aid in the prevention of the spread of fire.

Training Objectives

  • Apply a practical knowledge and skills on fire warden
  • Discuss fire statistics and impacts of fire as well as fire anatomy
  • Explain the duties and responsibilities of fire wardens
  • Employ fire prevention techniques and equipment
  • Demonstrate fire extinguishing methods and practice evacuation procedures
  • Recognize fire safety checks and staff induction
  • Practice fire warden in a professional manner

Who should register for this course?
This course is beneficial for Fire warden personnel and those individuals who are in charged with fire safety.

Course Duration and Assessment

The training is one day

Participants are evaluated through Instructor observation of the reasonable performance of skills. Performance and written evaluations are available and optional for use. Further, an International HSE Council Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course

Before the course

Each delegate will be asked to complete a Pre-Course Assessment Form to determine their current level and objectives for attending the course. The content of such Form will be used by the trainer only to give tailored training that is focused on each group of delegates.

At the end of the course

Each delegate will be asked to complete an Individual Development Plan and Vocational Completion Certificate.
