Training Description
Our ability to deal effectively with our emotions in the work place is critical to our success as managers and service providers. As the pace of the world increases and our environment makes more and more demands on our cognitive, emotional and physical resources, Emotional Intelligence is increasingly critical as a skill set. Emotional Intelligence strategies combine with native intelligence increase our ability to successfully manage the constant challenges from customers and our business associates.
This course will help you improve your own personal leadership by learning to manage your emotions and perform at your best when you are in high pressure situations. You will also gain critical skills that will enable you to influence and coach others, regardless of your position in your organization.
Training Objectives
Each attendee who will complete this training will gain the following outcomes:-
- Apply and gain an in-depth knowledge on interpersonal skills and self-development.
- Explain the nature and theories underlying Emotional Intelligence (EI).
- Define the various EI competencies and identify areas for improvement as needed.
- Identify their personal strengths and blind spots as revealed through self-assessments.
- Determine the impact of different leadership styles and their associated competencies on organizational climate.
- Practice empathy-building skills with emphases on active listening.
